Call for nominations : JSAP Outstanding Achievement Award
The Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) will present the JSAP Outstanding Achievement Award for the members who have made distinguished achievements in the development of applied physics. We look forward to your nominations, and self-nominations are also welcome. Please review the following information and JSAP Outstanding Achievement Award Stipulations before nomination.
In the educational achievement, several members (up to three) who have jointly made the achievements may apply from this year.
The nominations for the 25th (2024) JSAP Outstanding Achievement Award are closed.

Awarded Categories
1) Research achievements
The achievements that have made a particularly outstanding contribution to the academic field and/or industrial field through new discoveries, inventions, theories, experiments, etc.
The number of awards given each year shall be, in principle, no more than two.
2) Educational achievements
The achievements that have made a particularly outstanding contribution to the fostering and enlightenment of students and young researchers and engineers, or fostering and diffusing new academic field, in applied physics relevant research fields.
The number of awards given each year shall be no more than one.
Eligibility
In principle, the awardees shall be JSAP members who, as individuals, have made the aforementioned achievements. However, in the educational achievements, the awardees may be several JSAP members (up to three) who have jointly made the aforementioned achievements.

Awarding Ceremony and Commemorative lecture
The awarding ceremony will be held at the 2025 JSAP Spring Meeting. The awardees will also be asked to give a commemorative lecture during the meeting.
