JSAP Congratulates the Recipients of
the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics

JSAP congratulates Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano, and Shuji Nakamura on their receipt of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics "for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources".
Prof. Akasaki is a JSAP Honorary Member, and Prof. Amano and Prof.Nakamura are JSAP Fellows.
We are proud that their works on nitride semiconductors and blue LEDs have been presented at the JSAP meetings and APEX/JJAP.





A member without Japanese nationality who received a doctoral degree from a Japanese university and belongs to an overseas institution can apply for International Postdoctoral Membership with an endorsement from their academic instructor.
