A minute color image of fireworks that uses monocrystalline silicon on a quartz substrate, as color pixels. Each single pixel has a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 70 to 200 nm and a height of 150 nm, and it has a thin chrome layer with a thickness of 30 nm at the top. This pixel develops a different color depending on the size of the diameter, due to the effect of the mie-oscillations. The resolution at the diffraction limit is 100,000 dpi, realizing a color image with no color deterioration. (p.276)
