IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society (IEEE LEOS)

1. Members of IEEE/LEOS may submit papers to JSAP-sponsored meetings with the same privileges and limitations as JSAP members.
   Currently, members of JSAP and others may submit papers to IEEE-sponsored meetings with the same privileges and limitations as IEEE members.
2. Members of IEEE/LEOS may register for JSAP-sponsored meetings at JSAP member rates, and members of JSAP may register for IEEE/LEOS-sponsored meetings at IEEE/LEOS member rates.
   To implement this procedure, it will only be necessary for a member to indicate on the registration form or at the registration desk that he or she is a member of JSAP or IEEE/LEOS.
3. Members of IEEE/LEOS may subscribe to printed versions of the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP) and/or Optical Review(OR), and members of JSAP may subscribe to printed versions of the IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics (JQE), the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics (JSTQE), IEEE Photonics Technology Letters (PTL), and/or the IEEE/OSA Journal of Lightwave Technology (JLT）at reduced "sister-society" rates. IEEE/LEOS CD-ROMs, each containing electronic versions of one year's volumes of these four journals, may also be purchased at reduced "sister-society" rates. On-line electronic versions of the journals from either Society are excluded, however, due to the difficulties in providing controlled access to non-members. The following stipulations apply :
   1. The sister-society rates for JJAP, OR, JQE, JSTQE, PTL, and JLT will be reviewed annually by JSAP and IEEE/LEOS, respectively. The sister-society rates for a given year should be set by 30 June of the preceding year.
   2. The JSAP(LEOS) sister-society rates for subscription to JQE, JSTQE, PTL, and JLT(JJAP, OR) include surface delivery. JSAP(LEOS) members will have the option of receiving JQE, JSTQE, PTL, and JLT(JJAP, OR) subscriptions via airfreight at a price set by the respective owning Organization.
   3. JJAP and OR(JQE, JSTQE, PTL, and JLT) issues will be shipped directly from the printer of each respective owning Organization to the respective individual subscribers. There will be no bulk shipments of these publications.
