IEEE Electron Devices Society (IEEE EDS)
- Members of the IEEE may submit papers to JSAP sponsored meetings with the same privileges and limitations as JSAP members.
Currently, anyone may submit papers to IEEE sponsored meetings with the same privileges and limitations as IEEE members. - Members of EDS (JSAP) may register for JSAP (EDS) sponsored meetings at JSAP (EDS) members rates.
To implement this procedure, it will merely be necessary for an EDS (JSAP) member to indicate on the registration form or at the registration desk that he or she is a member of EDS (JSAP). - Members of EDS may subscribe to the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP) and members of JSAP may subscribe to Electron Device Letters (EDL) and Transactions on Electron Devices (T-ED) at reduced 'sister society' rates with the following stipulations:
- EDS members may separately purchase Parts 1 and 2 of JJAP.
- The sister society rates for JJAP and EDL and T-ED will be reviewed annually by JSAP and EDS, respectively. The sister society rates for a given year should be set by the 30th of June of the preceding year.
- The EDS (JSAP) sister society rate for a subscription to JJAP (EDL & T-ED) includes surface delivery. EDS (JSAP) members will have the option of receiving JJAP (EDL & T-ED) subscriptions via airfreight at a price set by the respective owning Organization.
- JJAP and EDL and T-ED issues will be shipped directly from the printer of each respective owning Organization to the respective individual subscribers. There will be no bulk shipments of these publications.
- EDS (JSAP) will promote sales of JJAP (EDL & T-ED) to its members by allowing ads/order forms prepared by JSAP (EDS) to be included in the membership and promotional literature of each respective society and in EDL & T-ED (JJAP). The promotions by JSAP and EDS will be within the legal limit permitted to non-profit organizations.
- EDS (JSAP) will annually bill JSAP (EDS) members for subscriptions to EDL and T-ED (JJAP). Payments for the subscriptions will be made by the individual subscriber to EDS (JSAP).
